Community Capacity Building
Heeyersu supports communities to strengthen knowledge, leadership, confidence and pathways to services. Capacity building may include community education, leadership development, youth leadership, service literacy, community-led planning, partnership development and strengthening referral pathways.
A community is only as strong as the people it is made of. Too many cities and towns in Victoria - across the globe, in fact - face issues due to lack of unity. How can you have community without the unity?
Cohesion, togetherness, comes from confidence. Confidence in leadership. Confidence in knowledge. Confidence in each other. A major objective for the Saturday Community Clinic is to help build that confidence within the greater community by enabling new Australians through the right resources. The goal - building a strong and unified community.
