How we can help

Reconnecting Youth Program

The Reconnecting Youth Program is a community-led program designed to strengthen identity, belonging, wellbeing, confidence and connection. Through structured sessions, young people explore relationships, culture, resilience, leadership, health, creativity, pathways and community participation.

Reconnecting youth program
Reconnecting Youth brings together young people and empower them

Victoria is currently facing a youth crisis that is increasing at an alarming rate. Young people deal with enough stress without the burden of language and culture blocks.

Providing assistance to struggling youth is a fundamental goal to us here at the Saturday Community Clinic. Mentoring adolescents and young adults, helping them deal with issues as they arise, and cultivating cultural pride - both personal and shared - is just a glimpse of what we offer.

What this involves

  • Structured sessions with youth mentors and facilitators
  • Culture, identity and belonging
  • Leadership, confidence and community participation
  • Health, creativity and wellbeing
  • Pathways into education, training and work
